Hutt Workshops Visit

We were woken from slumber on the top floor of the Latimer Hotel in Christchurch at 4:35am by the 7.1M Darfield earthquake on 4 Sept 2010. 

In the darkness and the chaos we packed up using my LED headlamps from the night-train-flash kit, leaving Christchurch and heading for places north. First Kaikoura, and then finding no trains running (for obvious reasons), Wellington.
